Had to go to a Santa Cruz newspaper to find out the details, the suspect's name is RANDALLYOUNG, had a MOST RECENT address in Mountain View, Gee, do you think residents of Mountain View might need to know that a voilent guy is living in their midst, where specifically did he live? I am no detective but 30 seconds to get this info which was yesterday's news in Santa Cruz.

APRIL 9 SANTA CRUZ SENTINEL Police say they have identified the masked robber who held US Bank employees at gunpoint and demanded cash Jan. 10 at 110 Morrissey Blvd.

Randall Young, 48, a former resident of Santa Cruz County with a most recent address in Mountain View, is currently in San Mateo County Jail on different charges. The Santa Cruz Police Department has obtained a $100,000 warrant for Young to charge him with robbery, kidnapping and other charges related to prior felony convictions.

Plans to extradite Young to Santa Cruz County are in the works. On Jan. 10, Young allegedly displayed a firearm and demanded money from bank tellers. He fled the bank, and the chase let police to High Street, but Young apparently escaped.

Those with information on this case are asked to call the Santa Cruz Police Department Investigation Unit at 831-420-5820.

Gary is a registered user.

An RV or car on the street has no Mountain View addess, although one could get a post office box or coomercial maildrop box. If you folks want to know more about the arrestee in hope of supporting a view or position you already hold, follow his criminal cases (viewable at each courthouse) and post what you find. Maybe he is a non-citizen. Maybe he is a she. Maybe he has used a hundred different identities. Lots of maybes but they establish nothing useful.

Randall Shane Young was a transient who lived in Santa Cruz and Pacifica. He used a family members address for mail purposes only.

He bought his bullets in MV. Our gun shops sell to anyone. We really need to get the council to boot these stores.

Yeah, and London needs to make sure no stores within 160 kilometers sells knives, since you know their murder rate with knives has exceeded NYC. (and Mountain View)
