Women around the world have been victims of male violence and exploitation for as long as records exist and surely before. We (with the modern technology called television) have just seen that most women and girls keep quiet about physical abuse (including rape and molestation) and unfair discrimination in schools and the workplace - right here in America and to this day. And females face a huge percentage of men who still don't understand what those creatures from Venus could possibly be complaining about!

Really? Women have never had it better. They can either sleep or earn their way to the top... or both! They have choices. Plus, they have Oprah... Oprah!
$150,000? Do you realize how many under privileged children that would feed. Many go without in our own community.

@ Anonymous "All you can eat" I guess you are saying::
After the Civil War and perhaps each decade thereafter, Negros "never had it so good" in America. And yet they are complaining to this day - along with those women. Give 'em the vote and they just want more. Women should just go back to wherever they came from.

Gary,
Agreed, "X have never had it better" is not a good argument in regard to any group X.
However, is there any right today that men have and women do not?
Thanks.

Yes SAMA, there are rights that men have today and women do not. One is equal pay for equal work. If a man was doing my job today, he would be paid approximately $10,000 a year more than I am, simply because he is a man. This statistic has been widely publicized, but yet in the year 2018, it still continues to be true. You can view it online at many different websites if you doubt it. But I DOUBT that most women reading this would disagree. The stated "rationale" for this appalling statistic? "Well, he's a man, he has a family to support". And women don't??!! The recent spate of outrageous misconduct of men toward women in the workplace should be enough to convince anyone that men get away with murder in our society compared to women.

"Rights" alone do not protect victims. Every girl has the "right" to not be molested. Every woman has the "right" to not be raped. Every female human has the legal "right" in America to not be harassed in school and in the workplace. But harassment continues every day in every community and most every company. Why? Because rights are not enforced and perpetrators get away with abuse. Most "prostitutes" in the world and even in the USA are sex slaves. When a "john" uses a sex slave for sex, "john" becomes a RAPIST. But he will not likely be caught or prosecuted or convicted or punished. So the rape of sex slaves right here in Silicon Valley continues unabated. In America, everyone has the "right" of self-defense. A husband or boyfriend or pimp may legally drop a violent female - but the reverse is not the reality. Most females facing abuse cannot drop the abusers - and many are not in a position financially or emotionally to even get away. Don't ever have a daughter if you imagine that she will be fine if she has the same "rights" as males.
