Not so long ago, they used to "inspect" the meters every month. Now it's newsworthy. I got a robocall from them a month or so ago saying they would be doing some observation with the gas, but not specifying the meter.

It's nice to see the Voice letting us know, I just wish they would have told us last week. Some of us have our gas meters behind locked gates.

I wager that PG&E needs to "adjust" our meters to artificially increase consumption and increase billing.
