These two lawyers running in the recall could have run against one or more of the 30 or so judges up for election in the county. Instead, no lawyers will challenge any (other) incumbent and voters will have no opportunity to replace any other judge. The truth is that we did not need anyone to run in the recall. If an incumbent judge is recalled, the vacancy is filled by the Governor'a appointee.
