Persky Recall: I am also outraged and furious about LaDoris Cordell's comments. Blaming the victim is not an excuse for the law. LaDoris implies that since the victim was intoxicated she has a part on the rape crime by Mr. Turner. On the other hand, one of judge Persky's "mitigating" factor was Mr. Turner being intoxicated. If I hurt or kill a person while driving under the influence would that be a mitigating factor for my DUI charge? How many times do I have to drive under the influence and inflict harm on another in order for my DUI to count as a violation to the law?

More concerning are LaDoris Cordell's contradicting opinion on CNN and CBS interviews. on CNN she states the incident had nothing to do with sexual activity. Why do Mr. Turner has to register as sex offender if this was not about rape? On CBS, she callED Persky's factors for lenient sentence
"code for White Privilege." So, what is your REAL opinion former judge Cordell?
What about your reality show you want to start? Is this the opportunity for publicity you were looking for? You are not a women's advocate but an enemy to women's well being and social equality status. Please, stay retired and enjoy your big pension!
