What's another $300 to $400 yearly tax? After all, we are all sitting on million dollar homes, right? We must be super rich to live here. So pass this one this year, and then another next year. None of us super rich people will mind!
Hmmm. For some reason the 'Sarcastic Font' doesn't seem to be working today.

The language of the measure would not ensure use of the money for any of the projects listed.

Pay attention voters.
There is a "master plan" yes. But it's not written in stone.
The bond measure will includes a list of projects to spend the money on, sure.
But there will be a catch-all sentence giving the board complete discretion to do some or none of the projects on the list.
The list is just to get your vote.
Don't fall for it. If the bond measure was the wrong wording don't vote for it. Demand to know what your tax money will spent on before you give permission to take it.

They never spend the money on what they say they are going to, so you need to get it in writing or they will blow it on whatever. So far we already have several bond measures on SCC property Tax bill and I would love to see an accounting of where this money is being spent.
