Millions more considered at risk under new blood pressure guidelines

High blood pressure is one of the most prevalent health problems in the United States, and it now affects nearly half of adults in the country, thanks to sweeping changes to what constitutes hypertension announced by the American Heart Association last month.

As a medical provider, I would like to know if this changes the prescribing guidelines.
