Police reunite owners with WWII-era photo album

Mountain View police reunited the rightful owners with a vintage photo album that was discovered in a homeless encampment months ago, returning the World War II-era photographs to two elderly Los Gatos sisters Friday.

Well Done to MVPD and the officers who worked tirelessly to bring an early Christmas present to sisters Janice and Nancy. Its the first day of the last month of the year and what better news. Merry Christmas indeed :)

Thank you to the wonderful policemen who worked diligently to find the owners of the album. What a great way to reignite memories for the ladies!

Nice story. I have a 1935 high school yearbook from Somerville MA, with the owners name written inside front cover, have no idea if I will ever find her family (she would be 100), maybe I should give it to the MVPD! Good work!
