Two inmates escape

Law enforcement agencies are searching for two Santa Clara County inmates who escaped from the Palo Alto courthouse this morning, sheriff's officials said.

How did this happen? The story does not divulge this. Were people not paying attention? How did the criminals contact friends to orchestrate the getaway? Great....more armed loose cannons out on the streets.
