That 7-11 is a hop, skip and jump from Castro Elementary School. I assume the "teen" involved was out of elementary school. Maybe he skipped middle school and went straight into street crime. Or maybe he was just a kid from Texas carrying a loaded gun for his own protection. Not a bad idea to carry at gun at that location. It is the most lawless corner in the entire city. I predict readers will never find another article in the Voice about the "teen." How old? Why did he have a loaded gun? Was he high on alcohol or other drugs? Does he live in Mountain View? Is he a gang member? What happens to the "attempted murder" case? We will never know, I predict.

Actually, I'd say the other 7-11 a block away is worse. More incident there, and certainly more gang related graffiti on building at that intersection
The Latham/Escuela 7-11 has a lot of traffic, and Pokeman hanging out drunk in the parking lot half the time, but a lot less gang/wanna-be gangster activity.

Fred should read the article more carefully because it clearly says he is 17.

Fred should obtain basic understanding of the law before he continues to post
inaccurate information.

Our neighborhood is fine. If only Fred could help lower the rents by scaring people away.
