Was the snake issued a citation for slithering around the fare? Maybe President Trump can find a place for the snake in the White House. There is plenty of room. Several snakes have resigned.

@Gary, I think only a venomous snake would meet criteria for employment at the White House, this little Python would be out of his element in DC.

Why can it not be euthanized, to keep it from being released again when it becomes unwanted? I don't think it's appropriate to import these snakes in the first place.

Sandra DiGiulio, Ball Pythons are bred by the thousands here in the US. They are part of the disposable reptile group: Red eared slider turtles, Sulcata Tortoises, Ball Pythons, Bearded Geckos etc. etc. Only if the sales of these reptiles gets more regulated the abandonment will stop. Most people have no clue what they getting into when buying them as babies.

The endless Trump-bashing comments for any topic are tiresome and juvenile.

It would seem one of our local zoos would be able to give Rumplesnakeskin a home? Happy Hollow San Jose, Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo, SF Zoo?
