Another smoke advisory issued for Bay Area

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District today issued another smoke advisory because of continued heavy smoke in the region from several wildfires in the North Bay.

Very confusing for this report to appear in the Mountain View newspaper. Does it apply to people in Mountain View or only people traveling to the North Bay? I'm all for public health warnings, but some local context would be helpful when it is printed in a local newspaper.

I agree with the comment that this is not tailored to the readership area as well as it could be. According to the same source that issued the smoke advisory, the actual air quality in the "south central bay" region yesterday, where Mountain View is, was moderate (yellow) rather than unhealthy (orange or red). The forecast for today (Tuesday) is the same, with possible improvements in the next few days.
