This is just a useless, feel-good exercise by the participants. All sound and fury, signifying nothing. Local demonstrations don't affect US or State politics one little itty bitty bit unless they are urban riots. Local demonstrations affect local politics. I suggest to these people that if they are really concerned with making a difference, they confine their efforts to trying to affect MV City Council's decisions. "All politics are local." Tip O'Neill famously said that. "A man's gotta know his limitations." Clint Eastwood said that.

If these demonstrators are serious they will put their money, not my money, where their mouth is. Lying down on public property proves nothing.
