Police/Emergency activity at San Antonio/Leghorn

Original post made by PA Resident, another community, on Sep 27, 2017

San Antonio was a mess this lunch hour with police blocking Leghorn at both ends and what appears several Emergency Vehicles with lights flashing in one of the businesses.

Any idea what had happened?

A small RV caught fire in a parking lot in the 2500 block of Leghorn in the 11:00 hour. As of 1:15 there was still an officer there with lights (could see from Costco) directing traffic. I believe there was an injury but the patient declined transport. This is from Twitter but hopefully there will be an article soon.

Vehicle (RV) fire on Leghorn St has been extinguished. One person suffered minor burns, was treated on scene & refused hospital transport.

It is interesting that there is no mention of this in the Mountain View Voice. Considering all the problems with RVs in the area and that this caused a great deal of traffic inconvenience, I wonder if this is being deliberately hidden from public scrutiny.

Thanks to the above posters for enlightening us.

There was also something happening this morning around Crisanto Ave/Central/Rengstorff at 7:10am near all the RVs. 2-3 fire trucks plus ambulances plus police and a police van. Haven't been able to find a thing about it anywhere today, not even on Twitter but cars were everywhere and I can't help but think it had to do with the encampment. Curious.
