USA is a registered user.

Sen. Hill,

If your teenage son or daughter came to you and said -- hey Dad, could I have 20 bucks? What would you say?

You would say the same thing every parent in the world in any country or culture would say -- what do you need 20 bucks for? What happened to the 20 I gave you the other day?

What would you do if they flipped an attitude at you saying -- well if you loved me, you would give me the 20 bucks!

Every year the CU and CSU schools come to the legislature saying give us more funding! And, they come with the attitude -- if you don't give us more money, you obviously don't support education!

What are you doing to get accountability for the money that is being spent? Are you asking why the cost of education has been rising more than the inflation rate now for many years?

USA, I think you misinterpreted this article. Senator Hill will be at Clocktower Coffee Roasting in Wednesday, not here replying to local cranks in the internet. You'd have to actually your house and put together a coherent sentence in order to get an answer to your question. Hope that helps!

To LOL: I think we'd all be a lot more effective in our communications with each other if we used kinder language instead of attacking someone's way of expressing him/herself. Whether or not I agree with USA, my response would be: If you want a response from Jerry Hill, you need to bring those questions and concerns to him at the Community Coffee (as noted in the invitation posted) or contact him at his office.
