How many spare the air days is normal?

Cooking fires are not subject to Spare The Air day regulations.
You can get your wood-fired pizza any day of the year, regardless if the BAAQMD declares a Spare The Air day. No authority will cite you for grilling your hot dogs and hamburgers.
