In response to "Shopping cart wranglers should call the store" (Letters, 7/28): If you see an abandoned shopping cart, there is no need to call the individual stores. Simply call the City of Mountain View Shopping Cart Abatement Program hotline at(650)903-6767 and then press 2.

In response to "A graveyard of Google bikes" (front page, 7/14): If you see an abandoned Google bike, call Google Security at (650) 253-5353 and then press 3.

These numbers are stored in our cell phones because we call them frequently.
