Linda, at least you're upfront about your NIMBYism. Yet still, we should all be ashamed that in the midst of a housing crisis of historical proportions, we decided to slam the door shut on some of our most vulnerable community members. We could have opened our hearts and changed the lives of some families going through truly difficult times, but instead we gave in to fear-mongering to deny them houses that we could provide.

This was truly a low point in our community.
