High schools boost funding for mental health

The Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) has been the premier mental health resource for children and families in northern Santa Clara County for decades. But a growing need for more comprehensive mental health care for teens, coupled with the high cost of hiring counseling staff, means CHAC has had to get by on a shoestring budget.

Awesome news! Thank you to MVLA for being responsive to CHAC's needs so that it continue to support our children and schools.

This is simply stupendous. A much needed service such as CHAC is rare. Even being able to assist one student is awesome. This funding will enable CHAC to continue the great service they have been providing. Being on CHAC's Board of Directors was awesome. Keep up the great work.
