It does not sound like an additional administrator. Tell us when new administrative positions are created and filled. How about a Chief Coffee Administrator? He or she might help WAKE UP the community to how poorly this district has performed. But is the main problem that many students arrive at school unprepared by uneducated or missing parents? What say you posters?

Welcome to Mountain View! The kids and our district need all the positive help it can get. Set up a good program and go for it.

Thanks for your service!

This seems like a smart choice. Congratulations Mr. Johnson. Semper Fi. And clearly the ethical and moral compass of the outgoing director, Ghysels, and incoming director, a former marine, could not be further opposite of one another.

Hopefully he boost the morale of the good teachers and specialists they have and flush out the administrators that lack basic knowledge of special education process which that is apparent in their communication and presence in meetings. Agree with Elaine's comment above, so why Ghysels as HR?!?
