Bay Area home sales jump in March, prices near record high

The number of Bay Area homes sold in March hit a five-year high, with the region's media sales price creeping up towards last summer's all-time high, according to real estate research firm CoreLogic.

It's been going that way for decades after decade hear in the Valley of Heart's Delight. Now our little slice of near perfection is an international draw. Don't expect prices to come down much, for very long anyway.
