Two nonprofits assisting students from lower-income families announce merger

Peninsula Bridge, a Palo Alto-based nonprofit, announced April 26 that the organization will merge with Building Futures Now, an East Palo Alto-based nonprofit to provide broader programs to help students from lower-income families.

This is a good move and respectful to the donors. Many smaller non-profits just get inefficient as they try to 'expand their domain'. We have all seen this in many other commercial and academic institutions and organizations also.

So, great work that needs to be done, great work that has been done, and they are covering a very important 'space' in the local non-profit "community benefit" domain. This conserves the efforts of the donors, board members and staff. I pray that it works out for the kids (2 months - looks like the courting/engagement was successful)
