This "man's world" is such a dangerous place for young girls... predators everywhere.
I hope Myra manages to come home safely. I send a prayer for her well-being. I hate these stories.

What @Maher said. Also thoughts and prayers for her poor family and schoolmates, and for the detectives searching for her.

@Maher While I agree with you, we don't know if that is at all the case in this instance. With the mention that she may have taken public transit, it is just as likely she left on her own for some reason.
Prayers for her safe return.

Glad she is found safe.
Her mom lives in Sacramento, according to her FB page; the girl apparently lives with her dad in San Jose. Why is she at Crittenden?
Does she have to take public transportation to get home?

Why is she in a Mountain View public school with Mountain View schools overcrowded? Anyone from the school district care to explain the policy?

So she hopped on a bus to Woodland. Not abducted.
Maher, on behalf of all MEN, your apology is NOT accepted!

@ Gary,
In most school districts, we allow kids who begin school here to continue school here when their families move to other parts of the area so as not to disrupt the child's educational trajectory or social comfort. This sometimes only lasts until the end of a school year, or it may last until the child finishes that school. This is pretty common and happens at most schools. In addition, when there is space at our schools, and all the district's children have been accommodated, open spaces can be taken by kids who live outside the district. This allows the district to fill out the school, get all the possible funding and use resources to the fullest extent. But it only applies when there are available spots. This is also a fairly common occurrence.
