Really?

How about 'Understanding Americans' for people in this blue bubble who still don't understand why Trump was elected and why we are banning Muslims.

@USA,

I can't decide if it'd be better for the moderators to delete your comment and account, or for them to leave it up there for everyone to see the flagrant bigotry.

At least you're honest about banning Muslims. I've gotten into arguments here about whether Trump was banning Muslims, since some people are in denial about reality. It's refreshing to see you embrace it!

On a more positive note, it's great to see that your disgusting bigotry has been rejected here in California and Mountain View.

We are all American! We support our Muslim brothers and sisters!

@Randy Guelph

What USA said is not necessarily racist. Looked at objectively, it could easily be an admonishment for Democrats to get their head out ... and try to better understand the large percentage of Americans that voted for Trump, and why they did it. Why did they feel so disenfranchised/marginalized, falling behind or left entirely out of the American dream? Or why did they feel government is so corrupt or ineffective that they got onboard with Trump to blow it up? And he's doing his best at it, imo, appointing people to run depts that they are either totally unqualified for, or people that fundamentally disagree with the mission of the depts they run.

We Democrats (and many Republicans!) missed something huge and essential in this recent election. And that's what gave Trump his big opening.

Yup, standard retort. Anything you disagree with is racism or some other type of -ism.

The US like many other countries has a long history of banning people who are a threat to us. In the 20th century, it was communists and Nazis. In the 21st century, it is Muslims.

I am sorry that you disagree, but it is you who is engaging in ad hominem attacks.

I don't hate Muslims. I just don't want to live with people who hate me and want to kill me because I am not like them.

@bluesjr,

If you look at my post, you'll see I didn't say he was racist. I referred to his bigotry.

Take a look at his latest post, does that strike you as not bigoted? The fact that he's advocating banning people on the basis of their religion, and comparing them to Nazis?

Right-wingers, I understand, but liberals carrying water for outright bigotry is even worse.

@USA, you might want to look up what the ad hominem fallacy is. Just because someone has criticized the content of your speech as being bigoted, does not make it a fallacy.
