There were several youth related trials and convictions similar to this in the greater Bay Area over the last few weeks. I would like to remind all MV parents - talk to your kids' teachers directly, about their duties as Mandatory Reporters (to the police) for any suspected sexual abuse.

These state reporting forms, should go to the police directly (including calls directly to the police) and only be copied to the schools' administrators. The on-line training, in the MVWSD, is not exactly crystal clear on this point! I have complained before to the system in writing but ... let the parents be aware - and pushy.

The training is a public document, even if it is digital and on-lin,e and should be viewable at the DO if necessary with a Public Records request.
