New classrooms on the way for LAHS

Students in Los Altos High School's weight room will go from pumping iron to pushing pencils next fall, after district officials agreed to a plan that would convert the athletic facility into two classrooms.

They will be pushing pencils in the old weight room and pumping iron in the new weight room that's being built as part of the locker room renovations project that included a refurbished dance studio, wrestling room, and 4 new team rooms! So exciting!

This district of 2 high schools has passed two bond measures for renovation. It always claims enrollment will soon soar. A master plan is a plan to ask for more money in yet another bond measure. How about an article that traces prior claims and prior expenditures? Where did the money go?
