This on/off ramp configuration has been and remains very dangerous for numerous reasons. The increased traffic flow from the businesses north of 101 combined with the presence of 2 large shopping centers has made the situation worse and now critical.
It is time to close the on ramp from Charleston to Southbound 101 and reroute that traffic to the newly built on ramp at the intersection of Rengstorff and North Rengstorff. Such a change might also require a signal at the entrance to the Costco parking lot.
Safety should be the only priority as the situation here is only going to get worse.
