Original post made on Dec 23, 2016

Thank you indeed! Delightful to have some happy news to take our minds off the misery of homelessness, the housing crises, gentrification, ever-worsening traffic, overcrowding and the steady loss of our favorite shops and restaurants.

Dear Anke!

I know there is a lot going on here in our home town, but try not to dispair. I guess things do not stay the same way forever. I feel your pain. I have tried to adjust my outlook on it all. You never know what is around the next corner. It might be something wonderful. Let's hope and be grateful for what we have. Cheers!

Thank you so much for continuing your family tradition so that we can continue our family tradition. No matter how modern, technologically advanced or outlandish, we like to finish watching the trains. May you have a wonderful holiday and happy new year!
