So what does it cost per person per night at the new shelter.

What could we do for the 271 unsheltered people of Mountain View and at what cost?

Several options:

Join Peninsula Food Runners(PFR)

Step 1.

As a volunteer so that you can deliver food to the shelter from donors who have signed up with PFR to donate their surplus.

Step 2.
If you work for a company that caters food in or have a corporate dinning services, have the person in charge of the food sign up on Peninsula Food Runner as a donor so that the company can begin to donate the left over surplus after lunch.

Step 3.
if step 2 is not an option,
You can be an advocate by soliciting donor for PFR from your favorite eateries in your neighborhood. Preferably a larger food retailers so that volume can be sufficient for 10 or more and also on a consistent basis.

Please feel free to contact us should you have further questions about how you would like to contribute to the cold shelter or any of the shelters in your communities.
