Original post made on Oct 27, 2016

Congratulations to the teachers, students, and community at Crittenden! This is great news as a result of hard work by children as well as adults.

BD, Yes it is.
Unfortunately the Mercury News coverage of the same report (from this strong public charter school organization) did not give Crittenden any credit! In particular - I personally think this article also fails to give a healthy dose of credit to the former principal of Crittenden - Geoffrey Chang. Along with former Trustee Chris Chiang, they both provided a bit of "Columbia Teachers College" kick to the old status-quo of this district.

I MY OPINION!

I am so glad that reporter Keven Forestieri mentioned by name Crittenden teacher Carolyn Anzia. He forgot to mention that she was the District's Teacher of the Year for 2015! Using such a teacher as a cohort workgroup leader - is an established Best Practice in the corporate world that I come from. It (IMO) reflects the best Continuous Improvement District employee empowerment practices.

SN is just an elected Trustee of the MVWSD, and these are just his personal opinions

Someday we will look at educating our children without having to catigorize them by race, black and Latino's.
If a program works for one group of children it should equallly available for all.
It's time to get the federal government out of local education and give it back to each state.
Confratulations Crittenden teachers.
