I'm supporting Laura Casas and Peter Landsberger. All six candidates are good and will work hard for the district, but Laura and Peter stand out as supremely qualified and dedicated. Both are longtime champions for education and have distinguished themselves in their service.

Thanks for this great profile piece!

Vote Peter Landsberger. I didn't even know he was running before I read it in the paper. He's a really nice guy with lots of experience.

Thanks to the Voice for giving all Community College Board candidates a forum. This election is about getting the BEST people elected from the field of six candidates. Track record is important when it comes to behavior on a public board and one board member can derail an organization.Laura Casas has a proven record, and that will support her re-election. Peter Landsberger's leadership track record. through years of experience with community colleges can't be matched. After getting through this article, Landsberger stands out as a candidate who will bring new insights and expertise to the Board. It's a long ballot and we have up to 3 votes to distribute among 6 candidates.- Every vote is important in this race that is often overlooked.

Casas and Landsberger are the standouts in this race. Casas for her fine record on the board already, and Landsberger for his extensive executive experience in the community colleges and passion for the work they do. It is easy to get complacent in down ticket races, and this is to our peril. Like the person who commented previously, track record is critical and Casas and Landsberger have proved their capacity to lead and be productive in public settings.
