This is another good and positive article from the Voice education reporter. Teresa Lambert, Principal of Castro for several years now. has in my eyes been a champion of 'bringing up to speed' the Hispanic families 'under her care'. I have seen many different programs, that she and her staff (Yeah! Castro STAFF) have been starting up and following through on. The Foothill College family education seminar series (in Spanish) is another one. That was going in full force when I came to Castro - to talk in a candidate forum - in Fall of 2012!

The Castro site examples, have been so good, that they have started to be used at Graham Middle school over the last two/three years. I hope that the Theuerkauf site (also 'a Turnaround Fund' site) will also benefit from Castro's lead and experience.
