Traffic could put limits on North Bayshore housing plans

Aspirational plans by Mountain View City Council members to allow up to 10,000 new housing units in North Bayshore may hit a snag, after an early traffic analysis by the city shows that injecting that much housing into the office-heavy area would bring traffic to a standstill.

It's strange that they would reprint the article, but not carry over the 14 comments.

It looks like my link does not take you to the article with comments. You can bring up the old article with comments by searching for the title in the Search field above.

Resident, I fixed the link to the earlier thread. We didn't reprint the article -- a technical glitch called up a new version of the story. It is an occasional occurrence on this forum, and we share your frustration. - Associate Editor
