Teacher shortage still a big problem

School has been back in session for more than a month, but the dust hasn't quite settled in the ongoing struggle to get a teacher in every classroom.

This issue has legislators at the state-wide level interested. There is a fairly recent presentation by the Legislative Analyst Office (LAO) at this link

There is another bill SB 1413 that attempts to address one of the issues identified in the LAO presentation/
KRON 4 report (it was presented to the Governor on the 8th and signed ???). This bill was sponsored by San Francisco Unified and introduced by a SF legislator.

The California Apartment Owners Association sent a letter to the Gov. requesting signature on this SB 1413.
