Following Turner's release, recall-campaign organizers rally

Local and national elected officials, Stanford University students, sexual-assault survivors, parents and others threw their support behind the official campaign to recall Santa Clara County Judge Aaron Persky on Friday morning, speaking at a rally held across the jail from where Brock Turner had been released just hours before.

She makes it sound like all violence against women is committed by awkward freshmen protected from repercussions ....


Punishing the outliers is key. No one ever brings charges otherwise so crushingsomeone is key. Mercy =.bad.

"I believe that the recall process should be utilized to remove judges who have a demonstrated record of abusing and/or misusing their authority or who have a history of making unlawful or biased decisions. Judge Persky does not have such a record."
