Eureka! is an all-American restaurant. There's American craft beer, American small-batch whiskeys and a menu showcasing everything from burgers and wings to lollipop corn dogs. The company is headquartered in Hawthorne, Calif., home of legendary all-American band the Beach Boys.

Good burgers but the sides are pretty inconsistent. With so many options for a good $10-$12 burger in town, what drives me into a place is usually the consistently good fries and onion rings. I've gone there 3 times so far:
Visit 1 - Onion rings were under-done, fries were limp
Visit 2 - Fries and rings were good (yeah!)
Visit 3 - Fries were limp, rings were just OK.

It may be the style of the onion rings I don't care for so I'm willing to let that go, but limp fries make the whole plate kind of sad.

We've been several times, I love it. Great food (love the reaper sauce) and the beer and whiskey lists are excellent. Even though the lists at Beirhaus and Steins are large, I still often have trouble finding something I really care to drink.

I was initially skeptical about having another pub-style restaurant on the strip, but I am now a huge fan :)
