That's wonderful news! I've seen multiple missing posters up around mountain view and Palo Alto. Feeling happy for the family and Andrew!

I am so pleased that Andrew is safe. I'd also like to say how much I valued Dr Pearl's assessment (Web Link of the atrocious way Andrew's insurance company acted, in refusing him the more intense care he needed. Far too much power is held by the petty bureaucrats at these companies, and as they merge this problem will only get worse. I wish Andrew and his family well, happy and safe.

What a relief. I posted the VOICE article re the search for Andrew on my FB page asking my local friends to keep an eye out for him.

So Andrew went to back to the place where he knew (as his father said earlier) that is appropriate for him and that he needs to be. So Andrew may be crippled by a severe mental illness but his brain is still intelligent and took him "home".

Good for him. I feel such sadness for these (usually) bright young people who are suddenly stricken with this disease in their late teens early 20's and of course their hopes and dreams are stymied.

I hope he'll stay on this meds.
