Almost all the series of Star Trek were huge hits at the box office except the 13 as it proved to be unlucky for them! The essaymama.org that came after the 13 serial part came were of negative. And so the director is trying to do it the formal way!

I saw the first episode of Star Trek debut on a B&W TV as a kid.
It was my favorite show at the time and got me interested in science.
I don't know that there has ever been a good, true Star Trek movie.
Perhaps the closest one was "The Voyage Home" about the whale,
though it was a bit too self-consciously tongue in cheek, at least it
had the banter and rhythm of the original series and mimics how it
tried to do some kind of moral or social commentary.
The "reboot" series to me have been universally bad. This last one
was really horrible. When it aired Star Trek was billed as adult
science fiction, which was kind of funny because at the age of 9
it was great for me, but these new movies are brainless ... just moving
colors on the screen. There must be plenty of writers who could write
well for a decent Star Trek movie. Some of them have created their
own episodes on You-Tube every bit as good as the original series,
but with millions and millions of dollars somehow they seem to be
deliberately missing the idea. Too bad.
