Mountain View loses deputy city manager

Mountain View is losing one of its longtime public servants -- Kimbra McCarthy, who spent 10 years as deputy city manager, has announced she will be leaving to take a new job in Redwood City.

Calling city employees 'public servants' makes them sound so noble. She made $142,539.42 last year, plus gets a pension I assume. How about we call them 'city employees with a very generous comp package'.
