I've known Tammy Logan for a long time - I'm a retired Los Altos school teacher. Ms. Logan is one of the most intelligent people I've had the pleasure of working with. She plays a very fair game but she also knows WHEN to abandon ship.

Tammy, I wish you the best and thank you for a job VERY well done.

The proposal to buy and build a school at 5150 El Camino Real is a disaster in the making and Logan knows it. No surprise that she is getting out.

[Portion removed; criticism is fine, but keep it civil.] May cooler heads prevail in the future administration. To her credit, she is taking the high road on her way out and this is as good a juncture as any to resign. I would not want to be associated with either the LASD or BCS board as the whole El Camino MV property resolves itself. Phase 2 of Escalation is about to begin and no one, regardless of what side you take, needs that emotional headache.

Playing a fair game is a great example for all elected officials. Being smart and playing fair together can help solve community problems. The BCS noise (distracting) has noticeably diminished, thanks to her efforts

Now if only Steven Nelson would resign from MVWSD ...sigh
