It is simply amazing what these kids have gone through to get where they are. Congrats to all the AVHS grads and families. I know a number of kids who went to AVHS and that school completely turned them around. Bravo and congrats toothed students, staff and families!

Congratulations Sayra and to all the AVHS graduates. I have mentored students at Alta Vista for the past five years and am always so inspired by their stories and resilience. Not quite sure what the other commentator is talking about, as all of my mentees have reported that Alta Vista has been a life saver for them. Congrats c/o 2016!!!

Three cheers for the graduates! I am so glad that we have this option for our students in our community. Some kids do not fit into the mold or mission of the regular high schools, but still need help to build a pathway to their future. Big props to Bill Pierce and his staff for fighting the good fight and helping some of our community's most vulnerable kids.
