There is an odd story in the print edition of the newspaper with the sub-title "Voters Back Kasperzak, Approve Measures A and AA, Prop. 50." The article looks at how just the votes in Mountain View were distributed. In the Assembly race, the article states that Kasperzak received 24% in the City compared to 21% for each Marc Berman and Vicki Veenker - both from Palo Alto and in the November runoff. But so what? Kasperzak was lucky to barely finish 4th in the race - well out of the top two who will be on the November ballot. But Kasperzak can be consoled by his getting a whooping 24% of voters in his home city! End of his story.
