Saturday: Spring Family Parade struts through downtown

Mountain View, get ready to strut your stuff. The city's Spring Family Parade, open to anyone with a costume or homemade float, takes to the streets on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why does it start at 10 o'clock instead of noon like it always did before?

Heat can take its toll on the little ones, esp marching on blacktop. This has been an issue in the past so 10am is better, plus it doesn't tend to take over your entire day like the 12:00 start seemed to do.
