Head of CHAC resigns suddenly

The head of the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) resigned late last week after serving as the nonprofit agency's executive director for less than a year.

Thank you to The Voice for sharing this information. CHAC has had such a history of dedicated service to our community under Monique Kane. So many of our children rely on the therapy and wellness programs provided by CHAC in our schools and at the CHAC office. Hopefully, CHAC's Board will consider the reasons behind Ms. Nakano-Matsumoto's short tenure when selecting the next director.
