Does the City of Mtn View get paid when things like this are hosted? Or photo ops, or speeches?
I'm curious if payment to the City of Mtn View was made when Obama visited Walmart awhile back. Many, many officers were deployed to close off and monitor any egress on El Camino and those numbered more than 100.
He wanted to take that route, instead of an easier one. Did he pay for that?
Or any other government official or candidate for that matter?

Presidential protection is paid for by US tax payers. This also goes for the ex president family members. So sorry, no Mtn View you get no money for these visits. Police, road closures or the invitations only WalMart speeches. Any funds thus collected go to ...?
