Original post made on Mar 4, 2016

The VTA and other regional transportation districts want more money for themselves and private special interests they hire. Toll lanes for the rich will lead to toll lanes for all drivers. And the State may soon impose fees based on miles driven. Big brother is alive and well; the rest of the family is headed for tough times.

All the rich people I know brag about how they just use carpool lanes and pay the tickets the 1 or 2 times they get caught every year. From the rich a hole perspective, paying for special treatment is the logical solution, which will ultimately lead to traffic becoming just another poorsies problem and really do nothing about the real issue.

You know some real jerks. I know some extremely rich people...private jets on 24/7 reserve rich, and they don't act like jerks and drive the carpool lane.
In fact even the "comfortable" people i know don't act that selfishly. That rude behavior you see is definitely NOT base on income. Those people are jerks at any income level.
