Eshoo backs Apple's resistance to FBI iPhone access

A ranking member of the U.S. Congressional Communications and Technology Subcommittee said she supports tech company Apple's refusal to unlock an iPhone owned by a terrorist in the San Bernardino killings.

I guess the safety of US citizens doesn't matter. In this day and age of where everything you say or do is recorded, these people are worried about privacy issues. When the public safety is at issue this should be a now issue.

I say go FBI, bring down Apple CEO and Google if necessary.

It is funny - odd - which topics in the VOICE draw comments. Terrorists and government overreaching should both be grave concerns. But more readers just want to know where to eat.
