Seeking federal aid for an assortment of local issues, Mountain View City Council members brainstormed priorities as they prepared for a once-a-year trip to Washington D.C.

How about making the roads better for cars? Hmm? We won't need mass transportation, if self-driving cars will be the new thing.

And we don't need more sardine type apartments.

The only thing that will make the roads better for cars is less cars on the road.

We seem to have quite a few important transit and affordable housing projects all ready to go, but with a stalemate across the interests who might fund them. Hopefully this trip can secure the money to bootstrap some of those efforts. So, good luck!
