Good job, MVPD. Racial profiling doesn't help to stop these thieves any more.

Is this guy actually employed by a delivery company or is that a lie? If he is employed, what kind of background checks are these companies supposed to have for workers like this?

Nice straw man you got there.

Since almost all of these package thieves are white & Hispanic, mostly blondes and brunettes - we should be racially profiling everyone except blacks and Asians in Mountain View. How you like them apples!

The not so dirty little secret is racial profiling does work. Unfortunately people's "feelings" are more important than their safety and well-being.

OK, lets see the link that supports your so far unsupported opinion.

People just want some sort of validation that it's OK to be bigoted, then become frustrated when society at large does not support that. When society won't let them say it out loud they take to the msg boards. That's why you hardly EVER year these bigoted opinions other than on the msg boards.
JMO. Don't expect a link.

Not exactly. Some people are bigoted. But the reason few people publicly discuss the pros/cons of racial profiling is because of the lynch mob mentality of people pushing their own politically correct views.

Perfect example is that Mozilla exec, who made a legal contribution to a legal initiative, and then got fired from his job for offering legal free speech. Doesn't matter whether you agree with his view or not - everyone should be afraid when free speech gets trampled.

Freedom of speech guarantees you protection from gov't prosecution/persecution. It does not, necessarily, protect you from social or private entity repercussions.

Let's not forget that what is "PC" changes depending on where you are.

Imagine a table people loudly and openly using gay slurs in a restaurant and not only is nobody offended, but some chuckle along at what they overhear.
Now I had the freedom to say something about how generally offensive they were being, but the PC police in that part of MT would have shut me up proper. I chalked it up to being around a different culture entirely, finished up and left.

Generally, if you find yourself stifled by what is "PC" around you, you're likely living in the wrong area, if being around like minded people is important to you.
