Top MV science student heading to national competition

A Mountain View student is among five Santa Clara County high school seniors who have been selected as finalists in the this year's Intel Science Talent Search in Washington D.C., according to the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

I think Harker high school, for example, has a special PhD scientist led class on techniques in advanced science experimentation. Then you might think of the science fair project as a year or two long class project. But for more than $30,000 in tuition, you should expect something special. Maybe.

FYI, Harker has university level science labs, I think including RNA-sequencing equipment and an electron microscope.
Also, Harker tuition Grades 9-12 is $41,432 according to their web site.

Four of 5 of the students attend private schools.
